This page explains how Martija InHPE structures, funds, and sustains its community outreach initiatives. Our model integrates institutional partnerships, educator mobilization, and consulting revenue to create a self-sustaining system that expands access to health professions pathways in underserved communities.
Rather than relying on one-time fundraising or discretionary surplus, MIHPE uses a revenue reinvestment model to ensure outreach efforts are sustainable, predictable, and aligned with our core work. This model was intentionally designed to:
Embed outreach into normal business operations
Scale responsibly as our services grow
Avoid short-term or symbolic outreach efforts
Maintain financial transparency and accountability
Outreach is treated as an ongoing responsibility, not an optional add-on.
MIHPE allocates 10% of all service-generated revenue to support education-focused outreach initiatives.
This allocation:
• Is automatic and recurring
• Renews annually
• Is applied consistently across service types
• Is placed in a designated account used solely to support education and access initiatives
This structure ensures that outreach efforts remain funded regardless of individual project size or timing.
In addition to service-based reinvestment, MIHPE uses community engagement to further support outreach.
For every new follower across our social media platforms, $0.01 is allocated annually to outreach initiatives.
This applies across:
• TikTok
• X (formerly Twitter)
• Threads
This approach allows engagement to translate into measurable, education-centered community impact while maintaining clear financial boundaries.
Outreach funds are used exclusively to support education and access-related initiatives. These may include:
• Sponsoring students to attend educational workshops, conferences, or career-exploration events
• Covering registration fees for programs that may otherwise be cost-prohibitive
• Supporting institution-based outreach and prevention programming
• Providing educational materials or instructional resources for outreach events
• Assisting with limited transportation or food costs when appropriate and aligned with outreach goals
Funding decisions are guided by:
• Community need
• Institutional partnerships
• Educational value and impact
• Long-term sustainability
All initiatives are educational and outreach-based and do not involve clinical care.
MIHPE operates as a for-profit LLC, not a nonprofit organization. Accordingly:
• Outreach funds are internally allocated, not donation-based • Funds are not client-directed
• Contributions or allocations are not tax-deductible
• Funds are used exclusively for education and access-related initiatives
• Allocation priorities may vary annually based on community needs and partnerships
This structure allows for transparency while maintaining operational flexibility and long-term sustainability.
As MIHPE continues to grow, we remain committed to:
• Expanding education-centered outreach partnerships
• Increasing access to career exploration and professional development
• Supporting institutions and students in underserved areas
• Sharing aggregate outreach activity and impact summaries over time
Community impact at MIHPE is designed to evolve responsibly, guided by both mission and structure.
