At Martija Institute for Health Professions Education, community impact is not a separate initiative—it is built into how we operate. Students and institutions in Medically Underserved Areas (MAUs) and Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) often face barriers that limit access to career exploration, professional development, and early exposure to health professions education. These barriers frequently include cost, limited outreach infrastructure, transportation challenges, and lack of mentorship. Our mission is to reduce these gaps through sustainable, education-centered outreach that supports students, educators, and institutions over time.
To ensure long-term sustainability and accountability, 10% of all revenue generated through our services is automatically allocated to community outreach efforts.
